Our church has lots to offer parents, and children of all ages. For babies and pre-schoolers we offer a creche with toys and games. Our Junior Church, for primary school age children, does lots of craft activities, fun and games, as well as learning about the famous people and events of the Bible. When youngsters move up to SPOJ (Senior Part of Junior Church) at secondary school age, they are able to explore more complex themes in their own comfortable little 'den' upstairs.
As we are a family friendly church, we all meet together at 10.30 for the first 10 or 15 minutes, then the children go to their separate groups until the service ends at 11.30, when refreshments are served in the Sunday School Hall. Once a month, on the third Sunday, we all stay together for a lively Family Service that lasts about an hour, and refershments are served afterwards in the Church.
You don't have to "join up" or come every week, and there is no charge for Sunday School activities - you are welcome to come along as little or often as you like and we will be very pleased to see you. And please don't worry if you think your children might be noisy or restless in church, we promise you that no one will be the slightest bit concerned and our Minister Don has a very loud voice!
